Was parked the mile without cover from post 7, paced a :27 second quarter; tough trip

Had post 8 and dull cover while third over, finished fast to just miss

Had post 7, followed weak cover 4th over and finished well from a tough spot

CAL EXPO

3/1: 8w, + speed

2/28: 3w, no bias

ORLANDO'S EXPRESS*** -

Far back early, soared four wide to reach the leader and finished powerfully to draw clear

WINSMITH SYD -

Had post 7, followed weak cover and finished with good speed for the place

NORTHFIELD

2/27: 9w, ++ speed, very cold, 4 degrees at post time, very speed favoring

LF KILOWATT TIME -

Was parked the mile without cover from post 6 and held well

KELLY BLUE CHIP*** -

7th at the half while third over behind weak cover, rallied wide on the final turn and finished strongly against the bias to nail the place

BLISSFULL JESSIE -

Had post 7 and was 4th over at the half, stormed wide at the three quarters, remained wide and finished gamely against the bias to get the show

SUNRISE SUNSET*** -

Saved ground from post 4, moved out off the third turn, circled dull outside horses with a strong three wide move around the final turn and finished strongly to get up

THE MEADOWS

2/28: 7w, + speed

SONIC DANCER**** -

Left quickly from post 8, set a fast pace under heavy pressure while parking out a horse in a speed duel, gave way grudgingly late to the 6-5 favorite

FREEHOLD

3/1: 8w, + speed

2/28: 5w, + speed

2/27: 2w, no bias

MAGNUM MIKE -

Had post 5, rushed up approaching the half, forced a :28 3/5 third quarter and held gamely for the place behind the bias-aided front running favorite

MEADOWLANDS

3/1: 4w, no bias

2/28: 1w, no bias

2/27: 6w, + speed, headwinds

ALL THE BUZZ*** -

Saved ground in his debut, pulled out in a blindswitch in the stretch, angled for late clearance and finished fast to just miss; should get aggressive next time out

AMERICANGIRLFRIEND -

Saved ground from post 9, found room along the rail in the stretch and showed good pace; price factor in exotics

TWIN B SPIKE MAN -

Sharp trotter was last and 7th early, moved out off the first turn and made a strong backstretch brush, muscled his way to the lead at the 5/8's, trotted a :27 4/5 third quarter while opening up a two length advantage and held sway with something left late

RHAPSODY ROSE -

Left strongly from post 8 and was parked to the lead in :27, set the pace and finished third, no disgrace pacing a :28 2/5 last quarter after being used hard early

NET JET -

Left from post 10, shopped for a tuck but was shut out, raced parked uncovered for the mile and held okay until tiring in the final sixteenth after a tough trip

MAJESTIC STONE -

Trotter left sluggishly from post 8 and raced parked the mile without cover, grinded into contention and held well to the wire to miss by less than a length

DON'T KNOW CHIP -

Trotter saved ground, angled for clearance in the lane and finished fast

PT'S BOOMERANG -

Trotter was bottled up in traffic in the lane; watch for a drop in class or switch back to $15,000 claimers, but he is also a price factor in exotics at the C-1 level

MIKELEH -

Followed weak cover, stormed three wide around the final turn making up good ground but flattened out in midstretch; trip may be better than it looks on paper

BAD GIRL VEGAS -

Woodbine shipper left from post 10 and briefly tucked, then was on the move down the back again to take the lead at the half in a hotly contested pace, held well considering

HELIOS -

Trotter followed cover, fanned wide for the drive, was finishing fast and looked as if he would probably win but got rough gaited and had to be taken in hand by driver Andy Miller did a good job keeping him trotting while finishing second

DON'T BLAME HER*** -

Saved ground, swung out for the drive, angled to the far outside and finished fast

MAGGLIO -

Trotter floated out and was parked the mile without cover, held well

NEW KIND -

Chased from the pocket and was hopelessly blocked with pace in the stretch

ROCK STAR -

Moved out off the first turn and just bided time looking to flush cover, followed cover fourth over, angled wide in the lane and finished solidly

MIGHTY YOUNG JOE -

11-year-old has been finishing strongly but this time driver/trainer Stacy Chiodo gunned her venerable meal-ticket to the lead, set a quick pace and held way with a lifetime best

IN THE CLEAR -

Saved ground, moved out between horses in the stretch and was full of pace but had to be eased up in the late stages to avoid running into horses in tight quarters

CANE RIDGE -

Speedy sort had post 9 and was reserved off the pace this time, followed cover 4th over, angled wide for the drive and finished well from a tough spot

STORMIN RUSTLER -

Saved ground and had pace in tight quarters in the stretch

MONTICELLO

2/27: 3w, no bias

YONKERS

3/1: 4w, no bias

2/28: 4w, no bias

2/27: 3w, no bias

IRA'S BIG GUY -

Strong closing type tried the front end last start and gave way but drew post 7 here, followed cover fourth over and finished fastest of all, home in :28 2/5

VIPER HANOVER*** -

Had post 6, was 7th at the half and in a tough spot, moved out and eventually picked up weak cover, finished strongly for the place

YAGONNAKISSMEORNOT*** -

Had post 7 and was in a tough spot in a race with no flow, followed poor cover and finished strongly for the place, home in :27 2/5

PRECIOUS ROSE N*** -

Followed cover 4th over and finished sharply, home in :27 3/5

BOB N TONY -

Trotter followed cover and finished fast in the stretch rallying from 7th to get the show

CONTINUAL VELOCITY -

Left from post 8 and gradually made her way to the lead passing the quarter in :27 4/5, yielded to the favorite's retake at the half, was shuffled a bit, lacked a rally but only lost by 2 lengths in a good effort

PALM PATROL -

Followed cover 4th over from the third turn, stacked wide late on the final turn and finished quickly

NEPTUNE -

Had post 7, saved ground and finished fast in the stretch

ERLE DALE N -

Third over behind weak cover, finished strongly, home in :27 4/5

P H SUPERCAM*** -

Followed cover 4th over from the third turn and finished powerfully for the place, home in a sparkling :26 2/5
