4/17: 1w, + closers, sloppy track

PARK LANE SCOOTER -

Left, tucked, power-brushed making up 8 lengths to take the lead at the half, wilted late but held the show

GAME BELIEF -

Power-brushed to the lead at the half and held the place over the sloppy track that favored horses that were covered up

UPBYFIVE*** -

Left from post 9 and was parked to the lead in :28.4, was the only wire to wire winner of the night while maintaining a clear lead with solid fractions

MONTICELLO

4/17: 4w, no bias

4/16: 6w, + speed

4/15: 8w, + speed

SITTINTHEMORNINSUN*** -

Was parked the mile dueling for the lead with the 4-5 favorite, put that one away but could not hold off the closers while saving the show

TIMEWELL -

Had post 7, gapped off of cover but the fact that he made up 8 lengths though the middle-half had a lot to do with that, finished willingly against the bias

NORTHFIELD

4/17: 8w, + speed

4/16: 8w, + speed, off track

4/15: 6w, + speed

WESTERN TRUTH -

Left from post 7 and tucked, went first over into a quick third quarter and held well

SAMOVAR HANOVER*** -

Left from post 6 and was three wide to the lead past the quarter while hard-used, set a fast pace and held okay for the show

HE'S THE BOMB*** -

Left from post 6 and was parked the mile without cover, held gamely

A BAY BAY*** -

Third over behind poor cover, rallied wide around the final turn and finished sharply

A LITTLE CRAZY*** -

Was 8 lengths back at the quarter, rushed up to the leader, pressed a tough :27 4/5 third quarter against the sharp even money winner and didn't tire that badly

VICTORIA GALLERY -

Showed improved speed in 2nd career start but got cooked in a speed duel; beat five horses home and should go well next time out

NATHAN*** -

Had post 6 and terrible cover, rallied wide and finished sharply from a tough spot

BUCKEYE BADDLER -

Followed cover from post 7 and finished strongly in an improved effort

GORDIEISANARTIST*** -

Left from post 5 directly outside of a sharp post 4 leaver and was used hard to clear in :27 2/5, set a quick pace under pressure and did well to save the show

MEADOWS

4/17: 5w, no bias

4/16: 6w, no bias

4/15: 5w, no bias

MISS PINKY PIE -

Paced a :27 1/5 third quarter brushing around a tiring horse to go up after the leader and kept on coming to miss by a nose on the wire in a sharp effort

COUPON LADY -

10 lengths behind early, followed cover and finished gamely to just miss

NOT TO BE DENIED -

Trotter left from post 8 and was parked the mile without cover, held okay

GOGGLES PAISANO*** -

Speedy sort left from post 7 and was parked to the lead in :27, rated the half then took off with a :27 third quarter and was strong in the stretch; let it ride

TOP OF THE MARK*** -

Left from post 7 and was parked to the lead in :26 4/5, was shuffled a bit and came back on again to finished a solid third

VICTORYDAZE WILWIN*** -

Quarter-moved and got hung out forcing the pace while pacing a :55 2/5 middle-half, held well for the place

PHILADELPHIA

4/17: 5w, no bias

MEDOLAND J T*** -

Left in :26 4/5, yielded, went first over and battled to take the lead then tired but only lost by 2 lengths in a game effort

POCONO DOWNS

4/17: 3w, no bias

4/16: 7w, + speed

MYSTICOLE MAGGIE -

Had the rail and paced a :27 opener trying to maintain position in a heated first quarter, paced a :27 2/5 third quarter brushing to the lead and tired to finish 4th while the beaten 6-5 favorite; price factor in exotics

STALLONE BLUE CHIP -

Paced a :26 2/5 third quarter first up against a tough 3-5 winner and held well

MAGNUM KOSMOS -

Trotter left and tucked, grinded first over and held okay

TIGER BOUDOIR*** -

Had post 8, made a big move to brush to the lead with a strong middle-half and ran out of steam but held the show gamely

DIAMOND TIARA*** -

Left from post 9 and was used hard to clear past a :26 2/5 opener, yielded and was shuffled and paced evenly in a solid effort

FREEHOLD

4/13: 6w, + speed

4/12: 7w, + speed, sloppy track

4/11: 6w, + speed

ESPRIT DE KAYJAY A -

Charged up first over off turn two and pushed a :27 1/5 third quarter before weakening

SARATOGA

4/15: 4w, + speed, leavers or first over horses won every race

WYNSUM MAGIC -

Followed cover from post 6 and finished strongly in :27 4/5

Was parked to the lead in :27 3/5, yielded and was shuffled out

FAT MANS ALLEY -

8th at the three quarters while 4th over and finished fast in :27 2/5

BAKKEN -

Finished fast from far back; tough in that NW2 with the $20,000 earnings ceiling

ONLY ROCK N ROLL -

Kept up to a quick opener from the rail, was shuffled in tight quarters and finished well late; may be coming around for good trainer Jody Riedel
