:quality(75))
Dr. J Stallion Management and Blue Chip Farms announced on Wednesday that Prince Hal Hanover, p, 3, 1:47 2/5m ($1,785,454) will stand in New York at Blue Chip Farms, commencing with the 2027 breeding season.
A top-level performer all three years he has raced, Prince Hal Hanover won the Somebeachsomewhere, Adios, Milstein, the Bluegrass and an elimination of the Breeders Crown at three, competing against one of the very best 3-year-old crops in recent history. This year, at the age of four, Prince Hal Hanover has been a major player in the older pacing ranks. Many 4-year-olds have tried this but very few have succeeded. Prince Hal Hanover won the Pacey Mindlin and swept his elimination and final of the Juravinski on the half-mile track at Flamboro Downs in his first three starts as a 4-year-old.
He has gone on to win a leg of the Graduate Series, an elimination of the Canadian Pacing Derby and the Allerage and is racing in the Breeders Crown final this Saturday night. Possessed with blazing gate speed, Prince Hal Hanover is a factor every time he races and has missed the board just once in 2026.
Bred by Hanover Shoe Farms, Prince Hal Hanover is out of the Breeders Crown-winning mare Percy Bluechip p,3, 1:51 1/5f ($874,267); she a sister to millionaire Kenneth J.

Says Dr. Bridgette Jablonsky, "I have always admired Prince Hal Hanover; he always shows up. He's fast, he's tough and he has the gate speed to put himself in any race. Never count him out. Hanover purchased his dam in 2019, my first year as the Executive Vice-President there. It's very satisfying to see a mare I selected produce a horse like Prince Hal Hanover as her second foal."
"Prince Hal Hanover's second dam Advantest was one of the first high-end race fillies we invested in, and after her career all she did was throw top horses. We are very excited to have all that Blue Chip blood back on the farm and in New York State. We are big believers in stallions from top maternal families, and we are very excited for Prince Hal Hanover's future in New York," said Tom Grossman of Blue Chip Farms.
Trainer Dr. Ian Moore adds, "Prince Hal Hanover is without question one of the toughest and fastest horses I have ever trained. He shows up every week on every size track, from any post position with any kind of trip. Hal is a class act that has every characteristic in a racehorse that you would want, and I truly believe he will pass on all those qualities as a stallion."
Regular driver Todd McCarthy echoes these sentiments. "Prince Hal Hanover is one of the toughest and fastest horses I've had the pleasure of driving," he said. "He gives you everything he's got every time he steps on the track, and his manners make him an absolute pleasure to drive. He's got the speed, heart, and attitude you look for in a great racehorse."
The introductory Service Fee for Prince Hal Hanover will be $7,500 U.S. Prince Hal Hanover will be syndicated at the conclusion of his 2026 racing season, please contact Dr. J at (717) 578-7395 or drjablonsky@drjstallionmanagement.com for more information.
