Southwind Farms and the Muscle Hill Syndicate have announced that champion sire
Muscle Hill has been retired from stallion service.
A foal of 2006, Muscle Hill dominated on the track, winning 20 of 21 starts and $3,273,342,
including the 2009 Hambletonian in a then record 1:50 1/5.
At stud, Muscle Hill has sired the winners of over $126,000,000 in North America, including 17 millionaires, led by Triple Crown winner Marion Marauder (1:50 2/5, $3,392,609) and champion mare Manchego (4,1:49, $3,144,777), as well as numerous champions in Europe and the Southern Hemisphere.
Muscle Hill’s impact on the trotting breed will be carried on by his numerous sons and daughters.
