Harness: Miki And Minnie rises to top spot in weekly poll

For the second week in a row, there is a new No. 1 in the Hambletonian Society/Breeders Crown poll.
Miki And Minnie, who won the Grade 3 Perfect Sting for older female pacers this past Saturday at the Meadowlands, moved from third to first in the Week 4 edition of the rankings released Wednesday (July 8). Miki And Minnie, a two-time Dan Patch Award-winner who spent six weeks at No. 1 in 2025, received 15 of 35 first-place votes. She has won four consecutive races, including the Roses Are Red (G1), after beginning her campaign with a third-place finish in the Betsy Ross Invitational.
Loua Dipa, who was idle last week, dropped from first to second. She received 12 first-place votes. Brandon Blvd, who won the lone Meadowlands Pace elimination, moved from fourth to third while On To Norway, who captured the Graduate Series Trot final (G2) in a North American-record 1:48 3/5 at the Big M, vaulted from seventh to fourth.
Odds On Mr Mamba, who was idle, dropped from second to fifth.
Rounding out the Top 10 were Dave Brower Memorial (G3) winner Ervin Hanover, Graduate Series Trot runner-up Super Chapter, Six Pack (G3) winner Bourbonista S, idle Spencer Hanover and idle Apex.
The top six horses in the rankings all received at least one first-place vote.
Bourbonista S was the only newcomer to the Top 10. Endurance dropped out.
The Hambletonian Society/Breeders Crown poll, which will continue weekly on Wednesdays through the Grand Circuit season, does not determine year-end awards. The members of the U.S. Harness Writers Association vote on all Dan Patch Award division winners plus Trotter of the Year, Pacer of the Year, and Horse of the Year.
