Harness: Merriman healing after accident
Aaron Merriman remains under the care of doctors following the five-horse crash at Northfield Park Saturday night.
Merriman says he is sore, and doctors advised him to take a few days off. “I have an appointment with the doctor Thursday morning and hope to be back in the bike this weekend,” said the driver. Merriman suffered a concussion in the crash.
Merriman and Hunter Myers were injured in the 5th race at Northfield. Both were treated and the hospital and were released Saturday night.
Merriman thanks his fans for their concern and looks forward to seeing them back at the track shortly.
