The 2019 London Selected Yearling Sale wrapped up on Sunday at the Metroland Media Agriplex in London, Ontario, with the average and gross both declining from last year. For the two days 291 yearlings sold for an average of $C21,598 and a gross of C$6,285,000.  Both of these numbers were off from last year when 312 horses brought an average of C$22,644 and a total of C$7,064,800. The top seller on Sunday was HIP 244 Armor Seelster, who was purchased by Adriano Sorella for C$95,000.  Armor Seelster, bred and consigned by Seelster Farms Inc., is a Bettor's Delight colt and is out of the Real Artist mare Winbak Alice ($77,228, 1:54 3/5).  Winbak Alice has produced the likes of Azure Seelster (Shadow Play, C$201,334, 1:51 1/5), and Winbak Alice is a half-sister to Lady Shadow (Shadow Play, C$2,280,382, 1:48 1/5).
