Harness: London Classic Yearling Sale ends with average up from 2025
This year's London Classic Yearling Sale wrapped up on Wednesday at the The J-AAR Expo Centre at Western Fair District in Ontario.
The session-topper was HIP 174 She's So Sharp, who was purchased by Ecurie CSL for C$122,000. A daughter of Betterthancheddar bred and consigned by Winbak Farm, She's So Sharp is out of the Roddy's Bags Again mare Peak Of Chic, which makes She's So Sharp a sister to Global Choice [1:50 2/5, C$356,045] and World Of Wishes [1:48 4/5, C$287,281].
264 yearlings sold over the two days for a gross of C$8,623,000 and an average of C$32,662. The year-over-year average was up from C$30,442 while the gross was down just a bit from C$8,798,000. However, 25 more horses were offered at the 2025 edition of the London Classic Yearling Sale.
