The 2025 edition of the Lexington Selected Yearling Sale concluded on Friday night with HIP 913 Elixir, a Downbytheseaside colt, leading the way at $180,000. Consigned by Hunterton Sales Agency as agent and purchased by agent Summit Bloodstock for Jeff Berger, Elixir's dam Yankee Moonshine had a mark of 1:51 2/5 and earned $672,501 during her racing career. She is also a full sister to Yankee Bounty (1:49 3/5, $850,595).  The leading trotter on Friday was HIP 894 Kissme Ifyoucan, who was acquired by Greg Luther for $160,000. A filly by In Range, she was consigned by Anvil And Lace Farm as agent. Downbytheseaside had the remainder of the six-figure sellers during the session. HIP 874 Route Fifty, an All American Harnessbreds-consigned colt, was taken by Country Club Acres Inc. for $150,000, HIP 881 Priscilla Station, a filly consigned by Spring Station Bloodstock LLC., went to the Summit Bloodstock / Berger group for $100,000, William Hartt grabbed another Spring Station filly in Portofino Station for $100,000 and the Summit Bloodstock / Berger group also snagged Stateroom, a colt from Alliance Bloodstock (Agent) for $100,000. ► Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter Year-over-year the average declined to $32,290 from $33,369 and the gross went from $4,671,700 for 140 yearlings sold to $4,004,000 for 124 horses sold. Overall, the 2025 average was down to $68,417 from 2024's $72,132, and the gross dipped from $65,712,700 for 911 horses sold a year ago to $60,891,000 for 890 offerings in 2025.
