Harness: Lexington Selected Yearling Sale stages Friday session, average drops from last year

The next-to-last session of the 2018 Lexington Selected Yearling Sale was held on Friday night at the Fasig-Tipton Sales Pavilion.
The proceedings saw one six-figure seller, with HIP 475 Newyorknewyork Deo going for $110,000 to agent Andy Miller Stable, Inc. A Chapter Seven colt, he was bred by T L P Stable and Deo Volente Farms LLC. and sold from the consignment of Preferred Equine, Inc. (Agent). Newyorknewyork Deo's dam Doris Deo is a full sister to Donato Hanover (both by Andover Hall).
Tonight's average at the Lexington Selected Yearling Sale was $23,258 for 159 horses sold, and that average was a 21.5 percent decrease from last year's fourth night ($29,629 for 124 horses sold). Through four nights, the sale average is now up 2.5 percent year-over-year heading into Saturday's closing session.
