Kadena, who had been campaigned by Marcus Melander for owners Jeff Snyder and S R F Stable, has a mark of 1:51, has earned $209,917, and being out of the great Mission Brief, is a sister to this year's top 2-year-old trotting colt Apex. Kadena was consigned by Preferred Equine Marketing, Inc. as agent Armitage Farm also got 4-year-old Chapter Seven mare Date Night Hanover, who won the Allerage Farms Open Mare Trot at The Red Mile last month in a career-best 1:49 2/5, for $985,000. Trained by Melander for Snyder and Onda Racing Stable LLC., she's earned $936,787 lifetime. She was also consigned by Preferred Equine Marketing, Inc. as agent. Rodeo Drive Deo, a 3-year-old Captaintreacherous filly who was this year's Jugette champion, was purchased by Cindy Stewart from Hunterton Farms for $650,000 from the consignment of agent Alliance Bloodstock, and $650,000 was also the price for 3-year-old Muscle Hill filly What A Bid Hanover, who won the Goldsmith Maid last year and a division of the Del Miller Memorial this year. Consigned by Preferred Equine Marketing, Inc. as agent, he was acquired by Burke Racing Stable LLC. The Thursday/Friday mixed sale achieved a record gross of $38,554,000, bettering last year's $31,608,000 and the average was also a record at $55,156, topping 2024's $52,224.
