The 2017 Hoosier Classic Yearling Sale came to a close on Saturday at the Indiana State Faigrounds in Indianapolis, and a pair of babies by Rockin Image went into six figures to lead the day and the sale. HIP 236 Newport Party, a filly, was the topper, fetching $145,000 from William DeLong.  Selling from the Legacy Lane Farm consignment, Newport Party is out of the Incredible Finale mare Fox Valley Monika, making Newport Party a full sister to Can't Touch This ($422,864), and a half-sister to millionaire Glass Pack (Cole Muffler), plus four other six-figure earners. The other Rockin Image offspring to enter the $100,000 club was HIP 296 Sunday Clothes.  This colt, selling from the In Law Stables consignment, was purchased by Anthony Lombardi, Rocco Ruffolo and S&R Stable.  Sunday Clothes is out the Electric Yankee mare Sara's Lucky Charm ($119,025), which makes him a half-brother to Beckham's Z Tam (Always A Virgin, $281,244).
