Harness: Hoosier Classic Yearling Sale gets underway

The 2018 Hoosier Classic Yearling Sale got going on Friday, and the session would be led by Always A Virgin colt Justanothermiki, who was purchased for $87,000.
Justanothermiki, who was bred by Homestead Acres and sold as HIP 156, is a colt by Always A Virgin and was purchased by agent Mike Roth for owner Carl Atley. Justanothermiki is the first colt out of the Western Hanover mare Artsy Princess ($294,925).
For the day 184 yearlings brought a gross of $3,735,000 and an average of $20,299. This average was basically flat from the first session of the 2017 Hoosier Classic Yearling Sale when 182 head sold for an average of $20,610.
