Harness: Heist Seelster heads first day of London Classic Yearling Sale

HIP 38 Heist Seelster, a Resolve colt bred by Seelster Farms, was purchased by Gestion R Zane for C$165,000 to top the first of two sessions of the London Classic Yearling Sale today at Western Fair.

Heist Seelster, who is out of the Angus Hall mare Hollywood Beauty, is a half-brother to the likes of Hemi Seelster [1:51 4/5, C$856,218].

Seelster Farms also sold the highest-priced pacer in HIP 73 Liege Seelster, a Bettor's Delight colt that went to Mac Nichol for C$125,000. Liege Seelster, out of the Camluck mare Los Angeles, is a half-brother to the late Thinking Out Loud [1:47 2/5, C$1,957,217].

A total of 94 yearlings brought a gross of C$3,745,000 and an average of C$39,840. Full results and other details are available here.
