Harness: Hall of Fame weekend details
The annual Harness Racing Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will take place Sunday, July 5, 2026 at the Harness Racing Museum & Hall of Fame in Goshen, New York. The festivities begin at 5:00 p.m.
Congratulations are in order for the newest class of Hall of Famers: Dr. John Egloff, Marvin Katz, Michael G. Kimelman and David Reid, and Communicators Derick Giwner and Tara Ellen Taylor. Also being honored are the new members of the Living Horse Hall of Fame: Bettor’s Wish, Buck I St Pat, Manchego, Nuncio and broodmares Eloquent Grace and Lucy’s Pearl. Bea Farber, Morton Finder, Jenna’s Beach Boy, Kikikatie, Naughty But Nice, Ralph Hanover and Rum Customer will be inducted as Harness Racing Immortals. Beau Jangles will be honored with the Delvin & Mary Lib Miller 2025 Horse of the Year Perpetual Trophy.
Everyone attending the ceremony Sunday night will appreciate the Big Ass Fans sponsored by David Reid and Marvin Katz. They are amazing! Thanks to Kimelman & Baird LLC for sponsoring the Open Bar, Preferred Equine Marketing for the flowers and Lexington Selected Yearling Sale for the music. Appreciation and thanks are also extended to the Antonacci family for donating a GreatHorse Golf package for four to the live auction, and to Brian Cashman who once again generously donated his New York Yankees manager’s suite box for six.

The Museum’s 32nd Annual Restoration Raffle to support conservation care is in full swing. Call the Museum and buy your Raffle tickets now! The drawing will take place on July 5.
Explore new exhibits, including the grand opening of Hanover – The Greatest Name in Harness Racing for 100 Years in the Greyhound Gallery at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, the new interactive kiosks in the Harness Racing Hall of Fame and the celebration of the 250th birthday of the United States of America.
The Harness Racing Museum & Hall of Fame, 240 Main Street, Goshen, New York is open 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. with free admission Hall of Fame Weekend. Historic Track will be racing Saturday and Sunday with a post time of 1:00 p.m., July 4-5. Racing is cancelled on Friday, July 3 due to the heat.
