Harness: The First Mile to stream Gaitway, Magical Acres qualifiers

Harness racing participants and fans worldwide will again be able to watch the 2-year-old races and qualifiers held at Gaitway Farm and Magical Acres all through the month of June as The First Mile, presented by onGait and produced by 412 Communications, kicks off its second season on Monday (June 6).

The First Mile will present live, full-card coverage from Gaitway Farm on Monday mornings (June 6, 13, 20 and tentatively 27), and from Magical Acres on Wednesday mornings (June 8, 15 and 22), streaming in high defintion. Harness racing media veteran and series producer James Witherite will again serve as lead commentator, and will be joined on air by a wide range of expert analysts and horsepeople throughout the month-long series.

The inaugural season of The First Mile attracted over 14,000 views, with people from North America, Europe and Australasia tuning in.

In addition to onGait, the 2022 season of The First Mile is sponsored by the Standardbred Breeders and Owners Association of New Jersey, Cameo Hills Farm, and Northwood Bloodstock.
