:quality(75))
Trotting broodmares were in high demand on Thursday as the mixed portion of the 2026 Standardbred Horse Sale in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, began.
HIP 1600 Call Me Goo, a 6-year-old daughter of Googoo Gaagaa who won the 2024 Breeders Crown Open Mare Trot final, in addition to a number of other stakes, went to Crawford Farms for $475,000 to top the session. Call Me Goo, who was last bred to Chapter Seven, was consigned by Northwood Bloodstock Agency as agent.
During the Spring Station Bloodstock dispersal, Armitage Farm purchased Explosionbroline S, Wind Chime and Mon Cheval for $385,000, $360,000 and $350,000, respectively. Explosionbroline S is a Donato Hanover half-sister to the prolific broodmare Jolene Jolene and was last bred to Captain Corey, as was Mon Cheval, whose dam is former Trotter of the Year Shake It Cerry. Wind Chime was last bred to Chapter Seven. All three were consigned by Alliance Bloodstock.
