webmaster|Oct 12, 2021

Winbak Farm of Canada is proud to announce that Betting Line, p, 2, 1:51 4/5s; 3, 1:47 2/5f ($2,238,518), will be joining the 2022 stallion lineup.

"Betting Line is an accomplished son of Bettor's Delight who is already a proven sire of Stakes-Winners from just two crops of racing age," said Pat Woods, Winbak Farm of Canada Manager. "We are excited to have the opportunity to stand this World Champion at our farm."

Betting Line was the 2016 O'Brien Horse of the Year Award Winner and 2016 O'Brien and USHWA 3-Year-Old Colt Pacer of the Year Awards Winner.

"We feel that the move to Ontario will be advantageous to all involved," said Dr. Bridgette Jablonsky, Executive Vice President of Hanover Shoe Farms. "As a winner of the North America Cup, Canadian breeders are very aware of the excellence of Betting Line as a racehorse and this gives breeders access to the next generation of Bettor's Delight at a very reasonable service fee."

Betting Line won 20 races. His accomplishments at 2 included winning the Champlain Stakes, Metro Pace elimination, two Ontario Sires Stakes Gold legs and Super Final. At 3, he won the Battle Of The Brandywine Final, Carl Milstein Memorial Invitational, Little Brown Jug elimination and Final, North America Cup elimination and Final, four Ontario Sires Stakes Gold legs and Ontario Sires Stakes Super Final, Simcoe Stakes division and Somebeachsomewhere Stakes elimination.

"Betting Line was an outstanding racehorse," said Casie Coleman, Betting Line's trainer. "Every time he went behind the gate, he gave it his all and I look forward to having Ontario-sired offspring sired by him with that same desire."

"Betting Line has proven he can sire horses of the highest quality as evidenced by Abuckabett Hanover," said Jablonsky. "Hanover will keep shares in Betting Line and will be breeding mares to him in the future."

From his first crop, Betting Line is already the sire of $500,000 Tattersalls Pace Winner, Abuckabett Hanover, p, 2, 1:50 3/5s; 3, 1:49 1/5s -'21 ($703,072), Paulas Bet Hanover, p, 2, 1:55 1/5s; 3, 1:52 3/5f -'21 ($193,669), 2021 Pennsylvania Stallion Series Winner, Darby Hanover, p, 2, 1:52 4/5f; 3, 1:51 3/5f -'21 ($192,137), and 2021 Kentucky Commonwealth Series Winner, Caviart Lotus, p, 2, Q1:53 1/5; 3, 1:49 4/5 -'21 ($155,751).

"Winbak Farm plans on booking some of our best mares to him in 2022," said Pat Woods. "We have had great success in the Ontario program and are looking to grow upon this success with Betting Line."
