Harmonize among Breeders' Cup workers for Mott

Trainer Bill Mott, who said he'll have a trio of Breeders’ Cup pre-entries, sent a pair of those runners out to work Monday at host track Keeneland.
Mott worked the 2-year-old filly Harmonize in company with Grade 1 winner Seek Again shortly after the morning maintenance break. Harmonize, who earned an automatic berth in the Juvenile Fillies Turf with her win in the Jessamine Stakes at Keeneland, finished her four furlongs in 48.89 seconds, according to Daily Racing Form clocker Mike Welsch. Seek Again stopped the timer in 49.19.
After the move, Mott said Seek Again, most recently fourth in the Grade 1 Shadwell Turf Mile, will not be pre-entered at the Breeders' Cup. Meanwhile, all systems are go for Harmonize.
"Harmonize was very good. I was very happy with her," Mott said. "They just went nice and easy. She was just gliding along, moving well. She looks like she's doing well since her race here, and Tourist as well."
BC Mile candidate Tourist, third in the Shadwell Turf Mile, worked four furlongs in 49.25 a bit later in the morning.
Mott's third Breeders' Cup pre-entry will be Lea, who will be cross-entered in the Mile and Dirt Mile, with first preference to the Mile.
Breeders’ Cup pre-entries for all 13 races were due Monday at noon Eastern, with a committee later meeting to determine preference in oversubscribed races.
