Handle declines at Stockton meet

Both the ontrack handle and the all-sources handle declined during the recent six-day San Joaquin Fair meet at Stockton.

There was a 12 percent drop in ontrack handle from $835,911 in 2014 to $734,637 in 2015. Out-of-state wagering on Stockton’s races fell only 1 percent from $2,035,773 to $2,008,247.

Stockton’s all-sources handle, including live, satellite, out-of-state and advanced-deposit wagering, dipped 13 percent from $4,723,791 to $4,124,026.
