Handicapping finals on ESPN

Building on the surprising success of televised forms of gambling like high-stakes poker, ESPN will present one-hour coverage Sunday of The Daily Racing Form/National Thoroughbred Racing Association National Handicapping Championship finals.

The broadcast, hosted by Kenny Mayne and Randy Moss, will air at 5 p.m. Eastern.

The $412,000 contest, with a $200,000 top prize, was held over two days in late January at Bally's Las Vegas Casino, and was won by James Michelson Jr. of Michigan. Michelson beat out 213 opponents.
