Race 8

STELLA MALONE showed ability on turf here last summer with two find outings. She hasn’t been as good since but all her work has come vs. tougher. She drops, get blinkers and has worked strongly since her last. MODEL BY ARTIE set the pace and stayed on to be second to a big winner in a race like this here June 15. She may be the one to catch. GREAT FINALE was too far back and very wide here June 15 at this level. She has speed and if she uses it here can be in a much better spot. (3)

Race 9

PICADILLY ROADSTER wasn’t much of a factor in his last three but all that came vs. tougher. He gets a significant drop and has tactical speed. DARKHORSE TY pressed the pace but fell apart here June 9. In his defense, he not only went fast early, he was facing tougher, was racing in slop and making his first start in almost seven months. Race 10

STORMY SAILOR comes off two good June outings on this course and looks ready for the step up in class. A P IS LOOSE was second in this last year. He’s back to turf and seven of his nine wins have come on turf. HOT SHOT KID looked super romping in a stakes washed off the turf onto a sloppy main track here last time out June 9 but he handled turf well in his only try. FIREMAN OSCAR is a winner over this course and after a decent stakes sprint try here June 2 may be set for his best as he moves back to routing. (4)

Race 11

MOONLITE JOEY was away slowly and wide but came home gamely to win his sprint debut here June 19, earning a smart Beyer. His trainer has strong numbers going sprint-to-route. TWOKO BAY likewise looked good winning first time out here June 9, sitting back early and powering home. That came routing, too, which bodes well for this. FAMILIAR RHYTHM has tactical speed and worked strongly here June 23. (3)

The play: 3, 6, 8 with 1, 8 with 1, 5, 8, 9 with 1, 6, 7 X $.50 = $36
