Workout reports for selected races at Gulfstream Park on Saturday.

Race 1

STARSHIP O. E. M.
Oct. 12 – The last in a series of average works in preparation for her return from a long layoff; finished second of a set of three from the Steve Dwoskin barn easily won by Starship Princess. Rating: C+

NAY NAY
Sept. 30 – She showed some improvement off her previous work, just shading 49 seconds for a half-mile in company but without much gallop-out. Rating: C+
Sept. 22 – She was out in 23 and stopped badly to a 50.10 half-mile in company with Boca Babe while equipped with blinkers. Rating: C

BACK IN A MINUTE
Oct. 12 – She tired under mild urging to the wire. Went a half-mile in 49.31 with not much gallop-out – five furlongs in 1:03.75. Rating: C+

Race 2

ANTONACCI
Oct. 10 – He finished three lengths better and under less pressure than Round Midnight. I caught the last half-mile of a five-furlong drill in 48.34. Rating: B

Race 3

RINGOLD
Oct. 12 – He began four lengths behind and finished one back in a set of three David Fawkes babies from the pole in an average move with blinkers. Rating: B-
Oct. 5 – He finished second of a set of five breaking from the gate and got a bit tired under pressure with blinkers. Rating: B-

GEMSUM
Oct. 11 – He showed his usual speed but while being asked, and tired some late in completing a bullet half-mile in 47.55. Rating: B
Sept. 30 – Easily ran away from his partner out of the gate. Showed 35-and-change early speed under pressure en route to a 1:00.70 final clocking with the aid of a tailwind. Rating: B

STYLO
Oct. 11 – He was the best of a set of three from the gate; edged three lengths clear of Margarita Island while not pressed working into a moderate headwind. Rating: B

MAXIMUM EXPRESS
Oct. 12 – I caught the last half-mile of a six-furlong drill in 48.15. Finished willingly enough under pressure. Rating: B

WINE TIPSTER
Aug. 20 – He began a length behind his Todd Pletcher partner. Finished a half-length back after an easy half-mile in 49.87, but proved no match during the gallop-out at Saratoga. Rating: B-
Aug. 5 – Went a half-mile in 48.53 on even terms with Pecorino (second and third in two starts). Finished well and galloped out with good energy at Saratoga. Rating: B

CONFEDERATE MONEY
Oct. 12 – He tired badly under steady urging off a 35.40 opening three-furlong split and finished a couple of lengths behind Rontos Code. Rating: C+

BROWNS GAP
Sept. 30 – An easy half-mile in company with Daring David in 49.90. Rating: B-

Race 4

FIDELITY
Aug. 26 – Finished several lengths in front while going easier than mate Lexi Morgan after five furlongs in 1:00.49 while not asked for her best speed at Saratoga. Rating: B
Aug. 19 – Could not stay with Lexi Morgan during the latter stages of an average five-furlong drill from the pole in 1:02.35 at Saratoga. Rating: B-

ULTRA VIOLET
Oct. 13 – An even, maintenance-type half-mile in 49.37, up in 1:02.64. Rating: B-

RUBY ON MY MIND
Oct. 13 – Was under moderate pressure to complete an okay half-mile in 48.11. Rating: B

STATELY DEFENCE
Oct. 12 – Finished with interest and three lengths clear of the colt Trapnall Hall (see race 6) while under mild urging to the wire with blinkers. Rating: B

HOT SIRACHI
Oct. 13 – Second breeze in five days. I caught the last three furlongs in 36.45 going easily. Rating: B

Race 6

LADOR VADOR
Oct. 14 – Finished far back in a set of three from the gate after a half-mile in 50.16. Rating: C

DARING DAVID
Oct. 14 – An easy and even maintenance half-mile in 48.76, out in 1:02.86. Rating: B-
Sept. 30 – An easy half in 49.90 in tandem with Browns Gap. Rating: B-

UNION DUES
Oct. 12 – Second of a set of three from the pole. Began two lengths in front of Ringold and finished on even terms in an average move. Rating: B-
Oct. 6 – Went solo and finished willingly, with a final quarter-mile in 24.10 under moderate handling, but not much gallop-out. Rating: B-

EAST HALL
Oct. 13 – An easy half-mile with jockey Juan Leyva up. Galloped out well into the turn, pulling up five furlongs in 1:02.25. Rating: B-

VALID CONCEPT
Oct. 11 – Responded well to urging during the latter stages of a 1:01.48 five-furlong drill and galloped out six furlongs in 1;15.01. Rating: B-

CHILEAN BROTHERS
Oct. 12 – Started two lengths in front of his work partner and maintained that margin under pressure to the wire after a half in 49.27. Rating: B-
Sept. 14 – Showed good speed from the gate under pressure with Grey Northern (finished far back in both starts). Went three furlongs in 35.11, finishing a half-length back while tiring, with not much gallop-out. Rating: B-

TRAPNALL HALL
Oct. 12 – No match late for Stately Defence after five furlongs in 1:01.63. Rating: B-
