MORSE CODE MAMA
Oct. 6 – Covered the final half-mile of a five-furlong drill in 47.60, finishing well without much urging. Rating: B

LINA PICKY
Sept. 28 – Finished three lengths clear of workmate after a half-mile in 49.42 but while tiring at the end. Rating: B-

BELLATARA
Oct. 5 – Out in 36.80 for the opening three furlongs, but nothing left late; tired to a 1:03.51 five-furlong clocking under pressure. Rating: C+

SETHNA
Oct. 6 – Went easily in blinkers, out in 23 and a tick, completed a half in 48.84, and finished a length better than her work partner. Rating: B
Sept. 22 – Speed early but tired late under urging, finishing a length clear of Tapit in Silver. Rating: B-

GREY NORTHERN
Sept. 28 – An easy half-mile in 49.72 on the main track. Rating: B-
Sept. 14 – Big speed from the gate in company with Chilean Brother, three furlongs in 35.11; completed a pressured half in 47.92, but not much gallop-out. Rating: B-

CUT LAP
Sept. 22 – Under more pressure to finish a half in 47.74 than the 3-year-old maiden mate Soul Singing; fell back during gallop-out. Rating: B-

WINTER’S COMING
Sept. 22 – Second in a series of three decent works since his last start, an easy five furlongs in 1:03.70; finished well under mild urging. Rating: B

HAPPY HARVEY
Oct. 5 – Finished with good energy without much urging to complete a nice half-mile in 48.45; galloped out strongly. Rating: B+

DESIRABLE LADY
Oct. 5 – Shaded 23 for the opening quarter and paid the price during the latter stages of a fast half-mile with not much gallop-out. Rating: B
