Daily Racing Form handicapper Ron Gierkink's Rainbow 6 play for Saturday, Jan. 31, 2026, at Gulfstream Park. RACE 7: The Chad Brown-trained duo of DIRAND and WHITE PALOMINO merit top billing in this first-level allowance/optional claimer. Dirand was a troubled second in a Nov. 13 allowance at Aqueduct, and the son of Arc de Triomphe victor Sottsass is bred to handle the stretch-out to 1 3/8 miles. Grade 1-placed White Palomino is finally getting the chance to string two races together as he continues on the comeback trail. (2) RACE 8: SOLITUDE DUDE aired in both of his starts in shorter sprints, including the Inaugural Stakes at Tampa. Irad Ortiz Jr. replaces Edgard Zayas, who is sticking with the other Saffie Joseph Jr.-trained contender, HAMMOND. The latter has worked encouragingly for his race since taking the Nov. 22 Juvenile Sprint, and the stalker/closer is a good complement to his speedy stablemate. Money rider Junior Alvarado has taken the call on the 2-for-3 comebacker DICIASSETTE, who is unbeaten in sprints and can fire when fresh. (3) RACE 9: TALBINGO has worked strongly on the Palm Meadows turf in advance of his first grass outing. The son of Classic Empire is out of a turf stakes winner at Woodbine who dropped a turf winner. MULTIVERSE also is experimenting on turf, but without much green in his immediate family. However, he displayed a daisy-clipper stride in his impressive dirt works at Palm Meadows, where he drilled a fast five-eighths on the turf training course Jan. 18. MARY’S LAD is adding blinkers off a game second. EVER DANGEROUS completed his 2025 campaign on a high note over Woodbine’s Tapeta and is no slouch on the grass when in peak form. Her outside draw could be ideal if the rail is dead like it was on the dirt last weekend. Front-running stakes winners ON TIME GIRL and MYTHICAL have both worked nicely for their returns from layoffs. Both have earned Beyer Speed Figures in the low 80s in longer sprints. Unbeaten SNEAKY GOOD could be much better than her low Beyers would indicate. (4). RACE 11: SURPRISE ENDING was a professional debut winner from off the pace in her one-mile debut over this course Jan. 4. She’s worked twice since over the Palm Meadows grass and could be the real deal. SISTER TROIENNE is taking a four-race win streak into this engagement. Her stablemate, STORM’S WAKE, could be the sleeper in her second start off the bench. (3) RACE 12: Grade 3 winner Incredibolt seems vulnerable breaking from the one-hole if the rail is dead. CANNONEER is a threat to lead all the way in his first try since romping in a seven-furlong allowance at Churchill. The son of perennial leading sire Into Mischief is a half-brother to three graded route stakes winners on dirt, including Girvin. NEARLY overcame a bumpy break to romp in a fast (97 Beyer) seven-furlong allowance a month ago. The son of elite sire Not This Time is bred to handle the two turns but must compete without Lasix. (2). THE PLAY: 4, 9 / 4, 5, 6 / 2, 3, 4, 5 / 4, 5, 6, 8 / 2, 6, 8 / 5, 7= $115.20 ticket. :: Want to learn more about handicapping and wagering?
