Gulfstream Park promotes Tim Ritvo to president

Tim Ritvo has been promoted to president and general manager of Gulfstream Park Racing and Casino, the Stronach Group announced on Monday,

Ritvo had served as the track’s vice president since October,

Gulfstream and Palm Meadows continue to be the winter home of champions, including five of the last six Kentucky Derby winners, and we are looking forward to building on Mr. Stronach’s vision of Gulfstream Park as one of the finest entertainment facilities in the world.”

Ritvo began his racing career as a jockey and racing official in New England, went on to a successful training career upon relocating to south Florida 20 years ago, and also served as vice president of the Florida Horsemen’s Benevolent and Protective Association.
