RACE 6: WATCH IT comes off a near miss in a similar spot, and she'll be a handful here given first run at likely speed TRUANCY as there's not a great deal of speed in this field. Truancy tries turf for the first time, but she looms the controlling speed under Joel Rosario. PEACE SEEKER is an upgrade candidate off her latest, when caught off a controlled pace, and makes her first start off the claim Sunday. BREAKER OF CHAINS closed very well in her first start off the long break, and she can be expected to make an impact late if she takes a step forward off that try (4). RACE 7: BLAZINGLY finds a seemingly soft spot for her career debut for trainer Jonathan Thomas, who is always a threat with his firsters. This is the first starter from the dam, who won two races, both of them dirt sprints. PROMINENCIA adds Lasix and removes blinkers for her first start since December. She has the rail and enough speed to stay close from the start (2). :: Get ready for Gulfstream Park racing with DRF Past Performances, Picks, and Clocker Reports.  RACE 8: BACKCHAT is the top pick, but he's buried on the also-eligible list. He could be the main threat in the lane if he's able to scratch in. DOCTOR RON was off the board and behind a few of these same runners in his turf debut last time out, but he ran into traffic at a crucial point in the race. Improvement is likely, given a clean trip. TIZ ROMANTIC will have to overcome the wide draw, but he has enough tactical speed to get position; very game effort in that narrow loss last time. GOOCH GO BRAGH has steady figures and makes his first start off the claim for Edgar Bayeh, who currently sports a 33 percent winning percentage with new faces (4). RACE 9: WINNING FACTOR is a little dicey on the class drop off a layoff, but he has to be respected based on his best figures, including the try over this surface last year. BURNING MAN should benefit from a lively pace here. He has license to improve off his latest, when behind slow early fractions. VELOCE does like to run second, but he has consistent figures and comes off a sharp try. KING THEO was a winner under similar conditions last time (4). :: Bet the races on DRF Bets! His tactical speed is a big plus. GRAND JOURNEY goes first off the claim for Danny Gargan, and that's a 33 percent angle for the barn. His consistent figures add to the appeal. DRIPPING GOLD sports some very nice works for his first start since November. He is clearly dangerous if he runs to them (3). RACE 11: UTILIZATION RATE makes her debut for trainer Chad Brown packing some nice breezes. Her dam produced a two-time winner in France named Craps. STRAND OF GOLD gets Lasix for this, and that’s a 30 percent angle for trainer Saffie Joseph Jr. HIGHLAND GRACE was off the board in her latest, but she earned a decent figure as the winner posted a strong Beyer. Her tactical speed and inside post should mean a good trip just off the leaders. Trainer Christophe Clement sends out firster QUEEN PICASSO, who is kin to Aclaim, a winner of 7 of 15 starts, banking $595K (4). THE PLAY: 1, 2, 4, 8 / 1, 7 / 6, 7, 12, 14 / 2, 3, 8, 10 / 6, 8, 10 / 2, 3, 4, 6 = $307.20 :: Want to learn more about handicapping and wagering?
