BLAZINGLY (#1) looked good beating maidens here May 20 in her first try on synthetic and first in a couple months. VELOCISSIMA (#4) kept to her task to finish fourth versus much more expensive here last time out June 2. (3) RACE 5: SMART STRIKER (#2) comes off a decent second in a stakes here June 10 and might benefit from this class relief. UNCLE ARMANDO (#6) made a smart move down the backstretch here last time out May 28. With a better-timed move, he could post an upset. He’s worked strongly since. DANZIG CHIPS (#4) showed speed in his first two starts before finishing well behind Big Martini both times. He doesn’t face that rival, and with those outings under his belt can move forward. ADIOS PAPA CHICO (#6) has been knocking on the door. (3) RACE 7: BIG DADDY DAVE (#7) dueled before ending up second, well behind a big winner in a spot like this May 27. He finished far clear of the others. SLIM SLOW SLIDER (#4) looked super winning at this trip May 5. He wasn’t quite as good last time out June 11 but gets back to a mile. (2) RACE 8: EMERGENCY RESPONSE (#5) looked like a winner into the lane routing on this track for $16K on June 9 but couldn’t sustain his run. That shows he handles this track. GREEN MILLENNIUM (#7) invades from Mahoning Valley, has good works, and makes his first start as a gelding.
