RACE 8: MILLIAT just missed to future Ginger Brew Stakes winner Ozara in her debut on this side of the pond when making just her second career start in the Wait a While Stakes. The Irish-bred has worked four times since then, and accomplished European rider Oisin Murphy takes over. LIFE’S AN AUDIBLE was a wide second in the Ginger Brew in her first start since a five-length loss in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf. MACANGA and DYNAMIC PRICING both graduated in maiden special weight races that included two next-out winners. Dynamic Pricing is trained by Chad Brown, who has been heating up after a slow start to the meet. (4) RACE 9: LEGALIZE is exiting back-to-back fast scores, against maidens at Churchill and in the Sugar Bowl Stakes at Fair Grounds. RISK IT ran against a speed bias when fifth behind future Grade 3 victor Track Phantom and Nash in the Gun Runner Stakes at Fair Grounds. He could get back on the beam with the turnback from a route to seven furlongs. COLORADO CRUISER beat maidens last out at Santa Anita with an 86 Beyer and has since changed trainers to Jack Sisterson, who has a 30 percent strike rate with new acquisitions. (3) RACE 10: R HARPER ROSE won her first three starts with ease before a front-running second on the stretch-out to 1 1/16 miles in the final leg of the Florida Sire Stakes series for fillies. Trainer Saffie Joseph Jr. has favorable numbers with turnbacks, and this one has been working right along. SCALABLE dusted maidens here a month ago in her first outing since ending up fifth in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies. Probable Canadian champion 2-year-old filly WITWATERSRAND has done all of her damage on Tapeta at Woodbine but is bred for the dirt. FIONA’S MAGIC could take some catching if the track is favoring speed. (4) RACE 11: NOTED beat three next-out winners, including two in stakes, when taking the Pulpit Stakes. His only poor showing came in the tough Breeders’ Cup Juvenile on the dirt, and 1 1/16 miles on turf might be his preferred trip. AGATE ROAD looks next best in his second start off the bench. A soft pace hindered his chances when a chalky second to the leading longshot Tocayo when returning to action in the Dania Beach Stakes. (2) :: Access morning workout reports straight from the tracks and get an edge with DRF Clocker Reports RACE 12: Reigning champion male 2-year-old FIERCENESS is hard to go past in his first race since a blowout score in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile, for which he got a 105 Beyer while manhandling impressive next-out winner Muth. The Repole Stable homebred has worked brilliantly at Palm Beach Downs and shouldn’t need one.
