Spot PlayMISS DAYNA LEE (#6, 6-1) finally gets off the turf and back on the main track, which she seems to prefer; versatile enough to lead or rate, which adds to the appeal. -Kenny Peck

Spot PlayBIG JOHN B (#3, 5-1): Rosario takes the call for the ever-capable Trombetta and finds himself on a live one when well-drawn toward the hedge. Can’t help but think the Maker/Castellano fave (Wings of Fortune) will be overbet as usual, but those 7 2nds (versus one win) make him a big play “under” in the verticals, don’t they? The form that netted this guy a three-back win for prior connections over this surface will be back sooner than later; looking for Rosario to get him into a rhythm behind the expected honest pace before he comes firing home. – Marty McGee
Vulnerable FavoriteLUMBERYARD JACK (#5, 6-1) ran respectably when a close fifth vs. similar in a turf marathon and seems to be back in top form again; experienced as a long-distance grass horse and the price is right.-Byron King

Spot PlayADRIANI (#5, 3-1): Filly who got beat a zop in a 1x turf spot last spring at Kee still hasn’t found the circle in limited opportunities since then, but the recent return to action suggests she’s back with renewed vigor and is ready to crash thru the condition. Gets turf pro Lezcano while well-spotted after running a big one on Presidents Day and surely stands to benefit; now’s the time. – Marty McGee
