Spot PlayBIRD E HOUSE (#3, 8-1) is an intriguing value play. He clipped heels and lost his rider in his only start. Trainer Mike Mareina does well with lightly raced runners, and this one could get overlooked coming from a training center.-Byron King
Vulnerable FavoriteCORO CORO (#1, 2-1) fits on form and speed figures, after setting the pace and holding second at 9-10 odds Feb. 14 in a similar race. The bad news is that he has lost four times at odds of 3-1 or less in his six-race career; prefer to use in in the second- and third- positions in the exotics. -Byron King

Live LongshotINNER GODDESS (#6, 15-1) is from a "turf sprint" barn, and though she was up the course in her only try thus far on the grass that was a route, and she had a troubled start; expecting improvement. -Kenny Peck
Spot PlayLITTLE MICHELLE (#3, 3-1): It’s taken a couple of big-priced bombers for players to realize that owner-turned-trainer Vaccarezza ain’t no dummy. This filly far outran her yearling price ($2k) and debut odds (10-1) in downing a nice field of MSW 3yos even with a legit excuse (hit gate hard), and with Rosario staying aboard, now wouldn’t be a bad time to start backing Carlo with some regularity. Pedigree suggests the move to grass is very doable. – Marty McGee

Spot PlayRUMBLE TIME (#8, 3-1): House horse for HOF trainer likely needed his last start when getting first Lasix and taking some window-pounding (9-5) while running noticeably better than in his Oct. debut back home. Stands to benefit from the outing, as well as this notch-drop in class; hard to believe Attfield is still on the GP duck, although he hasn’t really had that many starters. Improvement fully expected here. – Marty McGee
