Spot PlayBOMBAGUIA (#4, 12-1) has tactical speed and that could go a long way in this turf route, which lacks a clear-cut pace scenario; first start off a short rest but he's run well off the bench in the past. -Kenny Peck
Spot PlayKALAMOS (#6, 5-1) didn’t run a flashy Beyer in winning an allowance at Keeneland in his U.S. bow, posting an 80, but it came on the Polytrack and he was visually impressive in victory; showed promise overseas and starts for the powerful Juddmonte/Mott combo. – Byron King
Vulnerable FavoriteMORO TAP (#9, 3-1) comes off a fourth in a Grade 3 stakes race last fall, but in a contest restricted to 3-year-olds of 2013; now he is taking on more experienced, older rivals; also is deep closer and such horses often end up with wide trips; taking a short price on him looks like risky business. – Byron King
