Spot PlayHIGHLAND SARA (#1, 5-1) may have a hidden pace edge in the opener; she'll need to be ridden aggressively in the early stages but given a clean break she may be able to shake loose and back down the fractions. -Kenny Peck

Spot PlayDIDN’T TAKE IT (#5, 6-1): Three-back GP win over a similar brand has been validated by a couple of honest efforts as this chestnut dude continues to become entrenched as a turf-sprint specialist. Abundance of speed in here assures a stalking trip, and the underrated Jaen should be able to work out a nice trip once the others starts to get limber-legged; barn more than winning its share this meet; about time for another winner’s circle gathering. – Marty McGee

Spot PlayMIO D’ORO (#4, 4-1): The ol’ 4-in-the-4th at 4-1 play is something strictly for hunch players, but in this particular instance, they might be onto something. There seems a startling lack of speed in this short field, and Rocco – cagey veteran he has become – can milk that for all it’s worth, even with this guy on the slight turn-back. Alert break can make him the lone-F, and let’s see how far he can take it from there. – Marty McGee
