Greyvitos getting time off

ARCADIA, Calif. – Greyvitos, a two-time stakes winner who finished 13th in the Grade 3 Pat Day Mile at Churchill Downs on May 5, will be rested for the remainder of the spring, trainer Adam Kitchingman said on Wednesday.
Greyvitos emerged from the Pat Day Mile with minor injury to a hind leg when he made contact with another runner, Kitchingman said.
“We’ll back off on him right now,” Kitchingman said. “We’ll give him some time. He was pretty banged up.”
Greyvitos was beaten 25 3/4 lengths by winner Funny Duck in the Pat Day Mile, which was run on a sealed and sloppy track.
Owned by Triple B Farms, Greyvitos has won two of six starts and earned $319,345. He won the Grade 3 Bob Hope Stakes at Del Mar last November and the Springboard Mile at Remington Park last December before being turned out after undergoing surgery to have a bone chip removed from a knee.
