Great Lakes Downs track report

MUSKEGON, Mich. - Octavio Bernal arrived at Great Lakes Downs from Tampa Bay Downs on Tuesday and promptly won the first race aboard Master Oliver for trainer Gerald Bennett. Bernal, who was named Tampa's jockey of the month in April, added a win on Milady Larkspur for trainer Larry Penner in the fourth.

* Mary Doser leads the jockey race with 12 winners for the two-week-old meet, three ahead of Freddie Mata. Jeff Faul, riding here for the first time since the inaugural 1999 meeting, is in third place with seven wins.

Doser teamed up for a pair of victories with Reid Gross, the track's leading trainer, on Monday's card. Doser won with Exceptional Weave in the third race and added the nightcap with Salt Creek, who won handily.

Doser has been the rider for five of Gross's six winners.
