Grand Slam colt leads Fasig-Tipton sale
A yearling colt by the sire Grand Slam was the $145,000 sale topper by late afternoon on Monday at the Fasig-Tipton Kentucky Fall yearling sale at Newtown Paddocks in Lexington.
The colt, who is the first foal out of the unraced Storm Cat mare Dalia Cat, was purchased by Legend Inc. out of the Mill Ridge Farms consignment. Mill Ridge was acting as an agent.
More than 1,000 yearlings have been cataloged to the sale, which will be conducted over three days.
