Gotta Have Her holds on

It took four tries, but Gotta Have Her finally won her first stakes in the $110,600 Harold Ramser Sr. Handicap on Sunday at the Oak Tree at Santa Anita meeting.

Ridden by Richard Migliore, Gotta Have Her led throughout the one-mile turf race, holding off a late threat from Silky Smooth to win by three-quarters of a length. Gotta Have Her ($11.20) was timed in 1:34.16.

Runway Rosie finished third in the field of nine 3-year-old fillies, which did not include morning-line favorite Supposition, who was scratched early Sunday. Missvinski, the 2-1 favorite, finished last.

Gotta Have Her races for Green Lantern Stable and trainer Jenine Sahadi. A winner of 3 of 9 starts and $174,674, she was third in the Providencia and China Doll Stakes last spring and was a troubled fifth in the Grade 1 Del Mar Oaks in August.
