Goldman, owner and writer, dies

Dave Goldman, a Florida horse owner, publicist, and racing writer, died on April 23 in Ocala, Fla., according to reports. Goldman was 76.

Goldman owned Ocala-based Florida Thoroughbred Advertising, and had previously worked at Calder Race Course, Hialeah Park, and Florida Downs. He also contributed stories to the Daily Racing Form, Track Times, and Track Record, and was a principal shareholder in Capricorn Farm.
