Golden Ticket to stand in New York

Grade 1 winner Golden Ticket will begin his stud career next year at Questroyal North in Stillwater, N.Y. The son of Speightstown will stand for $7,500.

Golden Ticket won stakes at ages 3, 4, and 5, posting his biggest victory when he historically dead-headed with Alpha for the win in the 2012 Travers Stakes. He also won the 2013 Prairie Meadows Handicap and the 2014 Left Bank Stakes, both listed events.

Golden Ticket placed in eight additional stakes, highlighted by his runner-up effort to Goldencents the 2013 Breeders’ Cup Dirt Mile. He retires with career earnings of more than $1.3 million.
