Glacial Princess carded as an exhibition race

The Glacial Princess at Beulah Park will be run as a non-betting exhibition race with a reduced purse of $17,500 after it drew only three entrants.

Startin Something looks for her fourth win in a row and should have no problem with the two maidens she will be facing in the six-furlong event.

The Glacial Princess, which originally had a purse of $50,000, is for accredited Ohio-bred 2-year-old fillies. Accredited is the more restrictive category of Ohio-breds and requires both the sire and dam to be Ohio-registered. The exhibition will be held at 12:45 p.m.
