Michael Burns Generous Touch earned her second straight stakes victory in Wednesday's Eternal Search at Woodbine.

ETOBICOKE, Ontario – Generous Touch will look to notch her third straight stakes win when she lines up in a field of 13 in Sunday’s $125,000 La Prevoyante Stakes for Ontario-sired 3-year-old fillies over one mile on turf.

Generous Touch has recorded back-to-back wins here in the Passing Mood Stakes on turf July 2 and the Eternal Search Stakes on Tapeta on July 27. Trainer Sid Attard said Generous Touch is a consistent filly, regardless of which surface she’s running on.

“She doesn’t care where she runs, honestly,” he said. “She’s such an honest filly. She runs well on everything.”

Generous Touch set slow fractions on the front end under jockey Eurico Da Silva to win the Eternal Search, and Attard said she’s progressed nicely since that race.

“She’s training good,” he said. “She’s feeling good. We’re expecting her to run a good race again.”

La Prevoyante Stakes, Race 8

Key Contenders

Generous Touch, by Philanthropist

Last 3 Beyers: 80-78-76

◗ In her last start on grass, in the Passing Mood Stakes, Generous Touch sat just off the speed and held off Sugar Jones in the final strides.

◗ She is drawn well in post 10 and has Da Silva, the meet’s leading turf rider, in the saddle.

Conquest Dynasty, by Court Vision

Last 3 Beyers: 77-77-69

◗ She closed nicely to win against Ontario-sired allowance company at this distance two starts back July 9 and then stayed on well to be second behind Caren in the Wonder Where Stakes in her most recent start Aug. 7.

Sugar Jones, by Old Forester

Last 3 Beyers: 53-77-76

◗ She faltered as the favorite in the Eternal Search Stakes on Tapeta last time out, but a return to turf could see her regain the form she showed in the Passing Mood Stakes, where she was bumped at the top of the lane but still rallied to be second.

Crumlin Spirit, by Court Vision

Last 3 Beyers: 75-78-76

◗ The daughter of Grade 1 turf winner Court Vision will make her turf debut in the La Prevoyante after running third behind Generous Touch in the Eternal Search Stakes on Tapeta in her most recent start.

Sparkles’ Girl, by Society’s Chairman

Last 3 Beyers: 71-72-63

◗ She should improve in her second start of the year off a fourth-place finish in the Ontario Damsel Stakes on July 16, but she’ll have to overcome her outside draw.

Niigon’s Eclipse, by Niigon

Last 3 Beyers: 74-67-73

◗ She’ll make her stakes debut in the La Prevoyante after winning an Ontario-sired allowance on the grass by 2 1/2 lengths off a long layoff Aug. 12.
