Trained by Joe Shuman, Gathering Dreams won by five widening lengths over the River Downs turf course, going 1 1/16 miles.\nJockey Christian Pilares had Gathering Dreams fourth in the field of seven Ohio-accredited 3-year-old fillies early, before asking for her best in the stretch - and she responded, running down pacesetting Lipstick N' Lace. The final time over a firm turf course was 1.46.20. Lipstick N' Lace was 7 1/2 lengths in front of Poker Diva in third. Gathering Dreams returned $9.60 to win.
