Benoit Photo Game Warrior has not raced since he finished last of 12 in the Grade 3 Bryan Station Stakes at Keeneland last October.
Game Warrior, the upset winner of the 2025 Oceanside Stakes at Del Mar, is on schedule to start at the Del Mar summer meeting that begins on July 17.
Trained by Peter Miller for Steve Reger’s Jethorse, Inc., Game Warrior has not raced since he finished last of 12 in the Grade 3 Bryan Station Stakes at Keeneland last October.
Game Warrior started three times at Del Mar last summer, including a fifth-place finish in the La Jolla Handicap and a third-place finish in the Grade 2 Del Mar Derby.
On July 4, Game Warrior worked five furlongs in 59.80 seconds at the San Luis Rey Downs training center, his ninth workout since mid-May.
