Frankel, who stands at owner-breeder Juddmonte’s Banstead Manor Farm in Newmarket, was represented by three winners at the five-day Royal Ascot meeting. Teofilo sired Group 1 Ascot Gold Cup winner Subjectivist; Gleneagles sired Group 2 Ribblesdale winner Loving Dream; Nathaniel sired Duke of Edinburgh winner Quickthorn; and Australia sired Chesham winner Point Lonsdale. Teofilo’s son Havana Gold sired Windsor Castle winner Chipotle. Another grandson of Galileo, Dawn Approach, by New Approach, sired Group 1 St. James’s Palace winner Poetic Flare. Matching Frankel among all sires with three individual winners on the week was Dark Angel. The Yeomanstown Stud resident was represented by Group 2 Coventry winner Berkshire Shadow, Group 2 Duke of Cambridge winner Indie Angel, and Royal Hunt Cup winner Real World.
