Fresno: Handle rises at meeting

Ontrack wagering showed a 2 percent increase and the all-sources handle improved 3 percent at the nine-day Big Fresno Fair race meeting that concluded Monday.

The ontrack live racing handle improved from $2,851,317 in 2012 to $2,920,523 this year.

The all-source handle, which included a 6 percent increase in out-of-state wagering on Fresno races, increased from $10,879,597 in 2012 to $11,174,055 this year. All-source handle includes live handle, satellite, out-of-state, and account wagering.
