I hope you can join us live in-person. My top choice has won 13 of the last 19 races the last two Fridays but it’s been somewhat chalky. Let’s see if I can keep the hot streak going. Race 1: F&M TrackMaster 68.5 (4) TWO MORE DREAMS wired fields on 11/15 and 10/25 at this level and there isn’t much early speed in here to deny her path to the Winner’s Circle. You can throw out the last two miles where she changed tactics from the five post and you can expect her on the engine again where she does her best work. (5) JUST RENEE is just 2-42 in her career but has earned checks in six of her last seven and has been caught in some tough miles. She picks up Austin Siegelman, could be in-line for a good cover trip here and could add value to the exotics. (3) LOVELY LADY MAY has hit the board in three consecutive races and could work out a pocket trip here. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2: F&M TrackMaster 72.5/Optional Claiming $7,500 (Pick 4) (2) WESTERN ROSIE steps up a notch after two blowout wire-to-wire scores at 1:9 and 1:20 odds. She has five wins and two second place finishes in her last nine races. She obliterated the field on 11/22 by 7 1/2 lengths in 1:57 and set a tepid pace last week and jogged. She should be tough again on the front end despite bumping up. (6) ALMOST KAREN had been a bit underwhelming lately but had been facing far better in some fast races. Last week she exerted her back class at this level and went wire-to-wire easily and she stays in the class with the optional claiming tag and is the main competition for the top choice. (3) TRISH SPEAKER finished second in back-to-back races from the rail at this level and could be well positioned again for a piece of this. Race 3: F&M TrackMaster 68.5 (2) LYONS SHELLBY went wire-to-wire when last seen at this level three back on 11/15. She put in a solid effort on the front end on 11/22 after bumping up and finished third and then had no chance last week from the eight hole. She drops back down and should be on the front end again for leading trainer, Izzy Estrada. (3) BRIGHTEN YOUR LIFE has the highest TrackMaster rating in the field and won at this level on 10/10. She has six wins on the year and was a solid second two back. (1) RED DAWN returns from Hoosier after some unsuccessful efforts against much tougher. She put in some solid efforts here earlier this meet including two efforts from post seven where she finished third both times and she popped at 20-1 for Gentleman Jim King Solomon on 9/20 from an inside position. Race 4:  TrackMaster 68.5 (Trot) (2) CLASSIC PLAYTER is 0-16 on the year but finally draws inside. He has cashed checks in six consecutive races. He has some back class and ability and switches to the capable hands of trainer, Geovany Hernandez taking over for Michael Marx, who was called away for his equine dentistry expertise. He should be a major player here with the inside draw. (1) LIMERENCE has been disappointing this season with just one win in 36 starts and four exacta finishes but he put in an impressive effort two back at this level from the rail trying to wire the field and settling for second, missing by a half length at 2:5 odds. It was tough coming up with a third choice here but I’ll go with (6) GHIBLI, who has the highest TrackMaster rating in this field and could get a piece. Race 5: F&M NW 2 (Pick 5) The feel-good story of (3) WILD AS HER continues. She was a feral horse in the fields in Maryland before landing in the hands of Brielle Roman. She has been super impressive in her three career starts with one win and two second place finishes.  In her first career start, this late blooming 4-year-old left and never saw the rail. She went three wide around three turns and still had pace in the lane, finishing third in a game effort. Two back she was super impressive again, going three-wide past the half, then ducking in and getting up to win by a length. Last week she put in another solid effort finishing second against a dominant 1:20 shot. (5) T H MRS MCMURRY has really improved lately. She broke her maiden four back on 11/8 and has hit the board in five of her last six races. Trainer John Urbanski seems to have unlocked a secret code as this filly seems to be hitting her peak right now.(6) SHOPPING SPREE went wire-to-wore five back on 11/1 when she went first time with Lasix. She struggled a bit when moving into condition races against older mares but she fits at this level and should land a piece. Race 6: F&M NW $2,500 L5/TrackMaster 75.5  (Pick 4) (1) CORSINI A put in a spectacular uncovered effort last week at 48-1, finishing third and missing by just a half length to the red hot Maddy N Maggie. She draws the rail and should be on top or able to sit the pocket. She has earned checks in each of her last seven races and she typically gives 100% each week. (6) ROYALTYS DREAMER is a bit of a wild card in here shipping in from out of town. She has 14 wins from 2023-24 and has cashed three consecutive checks since joining the red hot barn of Izzy Estrada. (3) GAITWAY GAL lands inside for the second week in a row after four consecutive seven posts. She has been facing tougher much of the year and was a solid second last week sitting the pocket. RACE 7: TrackMaster 72.5 (Trot) We have three ladies and three men and I’m calling for Ladies’ Day! (6) MAKING MAGIC TONITE has won three of her last six including back-to-back, wire-to-wire scores at this level on 11/15 from the seven post and from the five post on 11/8. She stepped up and found the sledding a bit tougher over at the Meadowlands and drops back down. She has hit the exacta in 15-36 races this year. Justin Huckabone chose this one over the #3. (3) HOLD ME CLOSER has really turned sour, breaking stride in five of her last seven PM starts but she looked a lot better last week on the engine, settling for second. If she can mind her manners again, she could be tough to catch on the lead. That’s still a big “if! (2) MIGHTY SURF finally draws back inside after four outside draws. She has cashed checks in six of her last seven and is well positioned in here to have a say. [DRF HARNESS: Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter] Race 8: TrackMaster 68.5 (2) HUNT YOU DOWN has cashed checks in his last six tries at this level including a wire-to-wire score opening weekend of this meet on 8/23. He returns from the Meadowlands off two horrible draws and drops back down here. Last time here at this level he had to settle for an uncovered third at 2:5 odds. He has a chance to make amends in this field. (6) LUNATIC FRINGE is just 1-49 from 2023-24, but he has earned checks in his last eight races including a win at this level on 10/19. John Urbanski seems to have several horses in a good groove right now and despite the tough draw, this 11-year-old gelding could make a big impact with the right trip. (7) MAKE AMERICA GREAT has been off for twenty-one days and is 0-27 in 2024 but does have some back class and has the highest TrackMaster rating in this field. (1) TONY N ROCK rarely draws well of late and often finds himself parked but lands the rail for Ivan Llopez and could be in a line for a much smoother and improved trip. Race 9: F&M TrackMaster 68.5 (2) GIDGET LAUXMONT keeps luring me in and turns out like cubic zirconia in a high end diamond store. The mathematics may not compute when combining a horse that is 1-61 in her career for a trainer who recently got his first victory of the season and is 1-62 in 2024 along with a driver, who is 6-121 this year but this mare has had some hidden pace in several recent races and draws well. She meets a field in here that is 5-195 this year and it may be now or never! (4) BYRDS THE WORD has hit the board in four of her last seven starts and 13 times in 33 races this year but is still winless in 2024. She has the second highest TrackMaster rating in this field and she should have a say in here. (1) MYSTIQUE GIRL has cashed checks in six of her last seven and draws the best she has in a long time. She should be able to work out a good trip in here but she is just 1-50 in her career.
