She was parked to Route 9 two back and was stuck with the eight hole last week. She can make amends from the pole. (4) CUTTING HUMOR has really tailed off lately but this is as blank of a field as she has faced in a long time and it wouldn’t be a shock to see her trying to cut the mile here. (3) MYSTIQUE GIRL has hit the board in 11-23 starts but has disappointed me the last few with just average efforts but she’s not out of the question here. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2: TrackMaster 68.5 (Pick 4) (5) JAYDENS PRIDE won two back here at this level and this field is no tougher than what he beat. This field is a combined 3-138 in 2024 and 5-221 lifetime. This three year old has hit the board in 6-13 starts and has won two of his last five and he seems to be improving. (2) REDDY FOX was third to the top choice two back and then had a decent fourth place finish from the seven post. He goes fifth time with Lasix and seems to be showing signs of improvement. (8) KING CAST is a bit of a reach from the eight post but he’s cashed checks in each of his last five races and has early speed to find good early position. [DRF BETS: Wager on today's Freehold Raceway card at DRF Bets.com!] Race 3: F&M NW 1/$19,000 LT (3) HP TOP MODELE wired a similar group two back and gets a free ride here on the lifetime earnings cap. This 2-year-old added Lasix two back when joining the Bilach barn and she should be tough to catch. (4) LADY ELIZABETH finished second to the top choice two back and was a solid third last week from the seven post. This is just her third start of the year and she has been impressive her first two. (2) SHOPPING SPREE is a bit of a wild card shipping in from Batavia for Karen Taft after doing good work on the fair circuit. She’s hit the board in 11-24 career starts and has three wins and also gets in by being under the earnings cap. Race 4: F&M TrackMaster 68.5 (5) SWEET FEAR won at this level here three back in 1:56 1/5 and anything close to that in here easily puts her in the winner’s circle. She then finished a solid third at a higher level and dropped back down last week and was a solid third in a tougher field. She will be tough to catch. (4) HOT STUFF finally draws well after some impossible spots. She went wire-to-wire at this level from the seven post on 9/27 and has 11 exacta finishes in 33 races this year. (2) GIRL ALMIGHTY seems to be rounding into form with three consecutive on the board finishes. This veteran 8-year-old has hit the board in 92-227 starts and is well positioned to make some noise. Race 5: TrackMaster 72.5/NW $2500 L5 (Trot)(Pick 5) (2) PARODY is typically a completely different horse when landing inside but last week cut some quick first half fractions and faded. He may be looking at a perfect pocket trip in here and this six time winner in 2024 could be a tough customer. (3) ROBERT MICHAEL is a steadily improving 3-year-old, who has earned checks in all seven starts here at Freehold including a win three back at this level in an impressive 1:57. She was bet down to even money and 4:5 at this level the last two weeks. She won from the rail on 8/23 at this level going wire-to-wire and won three back on 9/13 utilizing a pocket trip. (7) PETER’S ROYALTY has hit the board the last three times out including a win here two back at this level. She moves outside and is just 1-30 this year but he is definitely improving from inside position to win at 8-1 odds as my Value Play of the day. Race 6: TrackMaster 68.5 (5) IDEAL SUSPECT finally draws a bit better after two horrible trips from the outside and I wouldn’t be surprised to see this one trying to go wire-to-wire.  (2) ULLIAM is a steadily improving 3-year-old and won at this level three back in 1:58 2/5. She has excuses in her last two and could make amends. (4) IDEAL TYSON A has earned checks in five of his last six and has good early speed and could find himself in the pocket. Race 7: F&M TrackMaster 68.5 (Pick 4) (5) QUEEN SUN RYSER has drawn the eight post the last four races and has had absolutely no chance. This horse did some nice work earlier this year and she had a lot of pace last week. It’s time for her to flex some muscle! (4) MADDY N MAGGIE crushed a field back on 9/6 at this level in the American/Italian Driving Series by an astonishing 16 3/4 lengths and arrives back in town after facing much tougher the last four weeks at Yonkers. She’s the one to beat. (2) SWEET MOVES has hot the board the last two at this level at 1:5 and 2:5 odds but hasn’t found the winner’s circle. The price today will be better.   Race 8: F&M NW $2500 L5/TrackMaster 75.5 (4) WESTERN ROSIE has crushed fields back to back weeks here but faces tougher today. She was facing tough stock over at Philly and won five back on 9/6 in an eye popping 1:52 3/5 at Philly. The price will be better today but she’s good enough to handle the bump up. (3) ROMA AMOR moves inside after four consecutive bad draws and also is good enough but she typically makes most of her noise at one level down. Still, she is good enough if she finds a pocket trip. (6) CORSINI A gives a solid effort week after week and never gets respected at the window. She has hit the board 15 of 33 times this year and is more than capable. [DRF HARNESS: Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter] Race 9: F&M TrackMaster 72.5  (4) LADYZAR has looked super sharp the last two with a win and a second and picks up aggressive Tyler Miller. This horse has lightning early speed and should be on the lead as far as she can go. (7) BLUEBIRD CRUSH is a steadily improving 3-year-old and despite the bad draw, she is more than capable of getting a big piece here. (8) ROCKOFRD PEACH draws the eight post again but put in a solid effort last week and this mare has has cashed checks in five of her last six. Race 10: F&M TrackMaster 68.5 (4) EDEN PAIGE N has strong early speed and has hit the board in 715 tries this year. She fired out from the eight post last week and finished second missing by a nose and should be able to make amends here with the better draw. (2) TWO MORE DREAMS has cashed checks in all of her last seven starts and draws the best she has in over two months. With a good trip here, she is dangerous. (1) LIFE’S ILLUSIONS draws the best she has in months and should be able to get a piece of this but is a step below the top two.
