LAURA’S LIGHT

Trainer: Peter Miller

Last race: March 21, race 3

Finish: 4th by 3 1/2

MISSY P.

Trainer: Richard Mandella

Last race: March 12, race 4

Finish: 1st by 9 1/2

Beyer: 90

Well-bred filly ran to her works and crushed modest maidens first time out with plenty in the tank. Full sibling to Grade 1-winning sprinter Mia Mischief might be any type.

ADARE

Trainer: Neil Drysdale

Last race: March 12, race 8

Finish: 5th by 3 1/4

Beyer: 83

Making first start in three months, N1X-caliber 5-year-old wants farther than six furlongs. Outrun early, evenly late while only prepping. Can wheel back soon in upcoming N1X dirt route.

BARRAZA

Trainer: Bob Baffert

Last race: March 13, race 2

Finish: 2nd by 4 1/4

Beyer: 74

Improved effort by stablemate of winner Triple Tap. Barraza was anchored early, rank behind pace, angled out, finished evenly. Has more speed than evident and can show it next time out.

CISTRON

Trainer: John Sadler

Last race: March 13, race 7

Finish: 4th by 3

Beyer: 86

Comeback 7-year-old prefers dirt, was only prepping in this turf sprint. Dueled inside to deep stretch and weakened. Can improve on dirt, possibly in the Grade 3 Kona Gold on April 18.

TABLE FOR TEN

Trainer: Phil D’Amato

Last race: March 13, race 9

Finish: 3rd by 3

Beyer: 73

Six furlongs was too short for gelding in his first start following layoff. Broke slowly, trailed, saved ground, finished willingly. Likely to stretch out next time in a Cal-bred N1X turf route.

GOLDINI

Trainer: Phil D’Amato

Last race: March 14, race 1

Finish: 3rd by 1 1/2

Beyer: 63

Making first start off the claim, lightly raced 3-year-old was blocked most of final quarter-mile, did not have fair shot, and was disqualified to fourth. Follow in similar starter allowance turf route.
