Free: Del Mar horses to watch for week of Nov. 19, 2018
OBJECTIVE
Trainer: Tom Proctor
Last race: Nov. 15, 6th
Finish: 3rd by 1 1/4
Beyer: 74
Racing five furlongs on turf, this 2-year-old debut filly broke last, trailed the field, rallied late through traffic, and finished big. Maidens from this stable generally race into form.
STEPH BEING STEPH
Trainer: Brian Koriner
Last race: Nov. 16, 4th
Finish: 4th by 5 1/2
Beyer: 81
Favored in a second-level allowance, this filly seemed uneasy inside and behind foes, and made no impact while trying to rally over a speed-favoring surface. This race was a toss.

SEA OF LIBERTY
Trainer: John Sadler
Last race: Nov. 16, 5th
Finish: Second by a neck
Beyer: 49
This debut 2-year-old broke slowly, recovered, pressed five wide into and through the turn, battled for the lead, and missed. He was best. Claimed by Sadler from Leonard Powell. Good claim.
COLISEUM
Trainer: Bob Baffert
Last race: Nov. 17, 1st
Finish: 1st by 6 3/4
Beyer: 91
Under ideal circumstances, this well-publicized 2-year-old broke running, set the pace, coasted on easy fractions, and was gone. Easy trip, but a promising debut nonetheless.
JUNE TWO FOUR
Trainer: George Papaprodromou
Last race: Nov. 17, 6th
Finish: 4th by 7 1/4
Beyer: 56
This N2L claiming gelding could surprise when he goes two turns again. Off slowly from the rail in a sprint, he was unable to keep up and ran one-paced. He wants two turns, and might be a price.
COOL BOBBY
Trainer: Peter Eurton
Last race: Nov. 18, 6th
Finish: 3rd by 1 1/2
Beyer: 79
This 3-year-old ran well in sprint comeback. Sandwiched in a pace duel and pressured every step, he tired late. Potential upset candidate in Grade 1 Malibu on Dec. 26 at Santa Anita.
