Favored in a second-level allowance, this filly seemed uneasy inside and behind foes, and made no impact while trying to rally over a speed-favoring surface. This race was a toss.

This debut 2-year-old broke slowly, recovered, pressed five wide into and through the turn, battled for the lead, and missed. He was best. Claimed by Sadler from Leonard Powell. Good claim.

Under ideal circumstances, this well-publicized 2-year-old broke running, set the pace, coasted on easy fractions, and was gone. Easy trip, but a promising debut nonetheless.

This N2L claiming gelding could surprise when he goes two turns again. Off slowly from the rail in a sprint, he was unable to keep up and ran one-paced. He wants two turns, and might be a price.

This 3-year-old ran well in sprint comeback. Sandwiched in a pace duel and pressured every step, he tired late. Potential upset candidate in Grade 1 Malibu on Dec. 26 at Santa Anita.
