For the second straight year, racing from Saratoga will appear on Fox’s national network on six of the eight Saturdays of the meet. Fox’s national coverage, dubbed Fox Saratoga Saturday, will begin July 20 with a show from 5-7 p.m. Eastern highlighted by the Coaching Club American Oaks, a race that is expected to be the next start for the top-ranked 3-year-old filly Thorpedo Anna. The following five Saturdays, Fox will have three-hour telecasts (3-6 p.m. Eastern) built around the Grade 2 Jim Dandy (July 27); the Grade 1 Whitney (Aug. 3); the Grade 1 Fourstardave (Aug. 10), the Grade 1 Alabama (Aug. 17), and the Grade 1 Travers (Aug. 24). Fox’s national coverage is in addition to the daily broadcasts that televise Saratoga’s daily offerings on FS1 and FS2 throughout the meet which begins July 11. :: Want to learn more about handicapping and wagering?
